Today was the layoffs of all the innocent hard working reps. No worries we working on a class action suit against Wa'el Hashad.

I can only say so much, he has gotten rid of so many in the know and we all have unlawful termination suits. We are under contract to sell xyz, if not we go on the 10 week xyz. If nothing changes we gone. So many today have nothing more then President Clubs and letters of appreciation. Utttooohhh they got rid of legal and now relying on Wa'el Hashad...

We have his severance package aka retirement, why he fired us... We all know about the terms and how much etc..

Apparently, you do not have do demonstrate proficiency in basic grammar to work here. Nobody understands your rant.
 








I would wager my pitiful severance package, less than 50% of what was promised on national call several weeks ago, that all of the reps laid off that were making well over 100K in salary with 10 plus year of experience. All of the new reps are pharma virgins prior to getting hired. Some are literally going through training as we speak making 60-70K less a year than those laid off. Good reps who were P club winners, top 1/3 of company and some even moving business to point of being at top soon all let go. Wael complained about lack of performance, yet he has been the head of sales for last 4 years ... This is on him.

When 80% of reps aren't making their goals, there is an issue with the goals and leadership.

I will miss my coworkers and manager. But as they have experience and are Sr level Paid reps, I expect to see them on the unemployment line soon. Great job running the company into the ground.
 




Unfortunately this “strategery” is total BS!!! It’s all about shuffling shells and a game to achieve a number. My heartfelt, sincerest condolences for his buffoonery!!! I know what it’s like to be part of a rif and know something better will come of it. Get an employment attorney and SUE THE SHIT OUT OF AVANIR for wrongful termination and try and get the severance that was presented by KP.
 












Unfortunately, for all those who are contemplating 'lawyering up" - remember we are/were all "Employee's at Will". Just as Avanir is a "Employer at Will". Unless you have inflammatory information that is in direct conflict to why you were laid off, you don't have much of a case! Just as you can quit at any point, they have the right to terminate you at any point, for no cause!
I agree with the sentiment though - Wael, Lapel et all, are spineless little jellyfish. Negatively impacting peoples lives with nary a care. Embarrassing how Wael got up in front of his whole team at the NSM and started spouting off about the good ol days when he carried a bag and would be in front of a doctor at 5am - really???? I have to give the sales team credit for containing their laughter! And Lapel using that bridge metaphor - that bridge (the bridge to nowhere) was as rickety as Avanir's ethics!

The joke is how they try to find 4-6 PBA patients in every LTC facility. C'mon Wael, the reason the numbers are dropping is that there are not nearly the amount of people out there suffering from PBA as you think. And COVID reduced that number further!
