Sending a whistleblower information to OIG with enough evidence to substantiate illegal activity.
Will send the HCP name and OAM name including territory. Simple: all OIG need to do is to ask for sampling activity and prescription activity of HCP.
Why is HCP writing so much Xelpros. Because OAM promised to give 3 months worth of free samples to patients in exchange for a 90 day prescription of Xelpros.

OP Here. OAM got careless. If you look at her sampling activity bulk of her samples disperse to one provider. Makes it too obvious and questionable. Compliance and leadership has been made aware of the practice but is turning a blind eye to sweep it under the rug to avoid OIG investigation and fines since the company is in a Corporate Integrity Agreement. Let’s see how you spin your way out of this OPH Leadership.

Perhaps OPH Leadership should step up as well. It is a shit show and will always be. It’s not just the Seattle South Rep who implemented this quid pro quo for Xelpros. This was encouraged by RSMs so that quota’s could be attained. This is a Pandora’s box once the OIG investigates. Wonder how much collateral damage in terms of OAMs not SLT getting axed.OPH SLT will deny any knowledge or involvement.
