Attention Derm Team

Lesson #1

You had better start cheering wildly at meetings.
You had better start remote meetings with your cameras on and you damn well better be enthusiastic and thank the leader for holding the meeting and ask multiple questions.

Finally, when someone asks good morning, you damn well better jump up out of your chair and scream at the top of your lungs, "good morning!!!!!!!".

When someone asks from the stage, the tired old line of, "whadda think, can we do it?" well regardless you better belt out with furious vigor, "yes, yes, yes!!!"

Slowly, you will be brought around to the Amgen way.

Lesson #2 next week.

The tide has definitely changed! If they are trying to push out legacy reps well I think they are doing a wonderful job. Good luck to everyone that was a part of the Otezla success. The party/success and value you brought is officially over. Best of luck everyone

Hey, it was a great run!! I love otezla but it’s time is over anyhow. New products are taking over and Amgen will have the crappy tail end. We had the glory days and they will never know.

Amgen overpaid and instead of admitting it and that the market has changed, they will implement the Amgen touch throughout dermatology. As long as MG doesn't get beat up on earnings calls, the pressure will only simmer. If anyone questions him hard, then look out. Hell to pay.

If we could just get the derm team to average we would be good and Murdo wouldn't get heckled on investor calls.

Just getting them to average means getting them out of the field and focused on Amgen KPIs like "capped calls" and manager travel time to first call.

We will get them there, but its a long way to go.

Getting Derm to average will be a long term project. They are focused on all the wrong things. Once we get them lasered in on KPI that matter, like field coaching guides uploaded with 24 hours, SLII execution, and not exceeding capped calls on customers that are already writing, better rep triggered email delivery and fulfillment of rep alerts, we can focus on executional excellence.

Will take time with these barbies.
