Atlanta Territories

There will be 2 territories with 2 reps in each.

Not true. Also, what's the definition of territory? If you think it's exactly the same as today, you're wrong again. They're changing the size of territories across the board, and no more than two reps will work any-given territory depending on potential business. The more rural the area, the less need for multiple reps, so you outlying metro territories, watch out. Also, who's to say the FLM won't be swiping that spot you hope to get? I know several FLMs (CP, for one) who will protect their ability to earn for their families vs. taking a chance on a terrible economy. It isn't going to be pretty here as other regions in the country took their bloodbath in earlier downsizings. Better start interviewing now while we have a very generous timeframe of not knowing our fate until April, being on payroll until June and then getting a generous(by any standard) severance. According to many people I know who left, it takes upwards of a year or two to land the right position to maintain the standard of living accustomed to right now. There are too many people(qualified, from many other companies) vying for the very few positions you should be interviewing for now, not when you learn of your fate. The smart, qualified ones are already looking; but unfortunately there are too many who are so comfortable here(job-shares, and those who know they cannot do better) that they won't wake up to smell the coffee.

DMs don't have the option this time to take rep jobs (this was answered during the townhall meeting the other day) Troy Greene has been with a device company for some time now.
