Atherotech is a joke in the Laboratory Market

How sad for employees who remain. You must not be able to find a job anywhere else. Or maybe you are so isolated in the South you don't realize you can't even begin to compete. You are fighting a losing battle. How many people have to leave before management realizes a good company has been ruined? Not that you care, you are only there for the money. It is only a matter of time before shady billing practices catch up with you. Many years of Non-compliance can't be covered up after the fact. Sad truth!

counting minutes until atherotech people reply telling you to shut up and do your job.
Counting minutes until the government reigns in all of of these ridiculous panels by requiring a prior auth for everything beyond routine lipid testing, the same way a prior auth for a medication works. All commercial plans will follow suit and then the door will completely slam shut unless it's some boutique clinic where cash paying patients only are accepted and want to pay Atherotech's ridiculous fees. Read up on how HDL's downfall went and tell me how ours is any different, besides the $10 draw fee we were paying. They were just more greedy and more opportunistic buying people off

That's why we have AMA standardized panels.

AMA?

Did someone really say AMA standardized panels? That is an absolute laugher.

The AMA also endorsed Obamacare.

This company is definitely going into the toilet.

Slim Shady.

Not trying to defend leadership, marketing, billing, some RDs, HR, CS, receiving, the lab, shady accounting, the unnecessary office expansion, Southern prejudices or anything else that has led to the current state of Ath. However, if all tests need a PA, none of this matters. What could anyone have done any different? It is a difficult place to work. Life is too short. If you aren't qualified or able to get a job elsewhere, suck it up. You need them to like you.
