Yes, if you're unable to pay, you will be tracked down and ordered to pay the bill. If you can't, you will be given the option to work for Atherotech in either the IT, shipping, or marketing dept. till the balance of the bill is paid off.

If you are in LA as in Los Angeles then yes you better pay it before your phone starts ringing non-stop and letters start to flood your mailbox. Our customer service department will come after with a vengeance.

You need to pay it. Billing used to be able to write the bill off, but this company can no longer pay its rent so we are passing the responsibility of our continuous management blunders onto patients. Plus, reps have to go to Italy on their paid vacation.

Italy? What? My doc says a lot of the tests are not really necessary and that it's too much stuff!?

My physician did Not inform me that she was sending me to an out of network lab! And, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas says a majority of your testing is research and unnecessary. Blue Cross Blue Shield also states they are not reimbursing Atherotech for any of its testing because of questionable billing practices. My EOD was over $1700 and I owe over $300. My doctor has already kicked Atherotech out the door because of billing issues but I'm still stuck with the bill from last summer and I'm pissed!!

don't pay. They will only attempt to collect if you were reimbursed directly by your insurance and you still refuse to pay.

They also take money right out of people's HSA accounts. Thousands of dollars, similar to what you experienced. Their own money they put in there.

I would send them a picture of 3 $100 bills along with a picture of you wiping your ass with the bill they keep sending you
