I had two friends put on PIPs at GSK (our partner for Vesicare) for no reason. One was a flex time- got moved to a territory with a flex time on maternitiy leave, so she took the fall trying to raise a new territory on flex time by herself. Has always been highly ranked. the other highly ranked, docs loved him, and he got fired with his PIP. But Astellas is doing the same. So it is 50 50. Either this person couldn't stand working for the corrupt RP and NA, as they have the highest turnover in the COUNTRY, or they got a PIP. Think about it. They are evil.

You have no idea what you are talking about! There is a new RSM in the Georgia area and I imagine all his people love him.

This position does not "constantly turn over". The guy that left had been there for about 7 years (and had been successful). KS is the manager, not RP. Both of them are good guys. Get a grip.

I am the "insane" post I suppose. Hmmmm. Look at the posts and you will see. If there is a new RSM, I did not know. That will be much better. I don't work this area, but know the peeps. So, brown noser or as OP put it, "sane person" whatever. I tried to help you OP. I have been to management training so I know alot more than the "sane" posters.

Sane poster here...management training as well. KS is a good guy. I've know all of his reps and they really like him. AL left the territory on good terms. They would take him back in a second, so no one was forced out.

Did you go through management training with Astellas? As far as I know, they just started that program last year and have had only one class go through.

I'm willing to bet you weren't in that class, but if you were, you're really leaving yourself open to ID. Several out of that class have been promoted already, so that only leaves a few who haven't (and only one of them seems to be this bitter). Hmmm?

Well, if you're a manager, then your either DE, KS, LN, or SS. Those are the only 4 promoted to RSM roles. If you were promoted but not to an RSM, then you're either MB or KB. Now, none of these folks is as bitter as you, so I'm sticking with "NOT PROMOTED".

Actually I didn't. SS was just promoted (a few weeks ago). I only listed those that have been promoted, Slappy, so get someone to read the posts for you prior to replying this time. Oh, there's one other guy in TX that works in training, TL. Hasn't been promoted yet, but is a solid guy. You're not him. Want me to list all the participants? :)
