At what point will they TELL US to stay home?

At least two major pharma companies that I know of have pulled reps from the field. I appreciate what they say about 'not forcing us to do something we're not comfortable with ' , but why not just pull us?? There was some very pointed questions alluding to this on the call today, but they largely punted to the company line. Bottom line is, if I decide to stay home because I'm not comfortable being in the fiuled, and EIGHT OTHER REPS IN MY DISTRICT decide to stay in the field- you're telling me there's n ot going to be an effect from that?!? C'mon Novo - do the right thing! Pull us for two week, and reassess at the end of March!

Agree with this. NNI needs to take action - it’s not just about caring for OUR people, it’s about caring for those around us.

Access is already severely limited in places, doctors already are not interested in hearing about our products as they are on the front lines of a global pandemic. We are already going to take a financial hit.

Taking reps out would show NNI cares about our patients - diabetics are at increased risk of death with coronavirus.

We will lose access forever if reps end up being a factor in spreading coronavirus.

Think LONGTERM, Novo.

Reps have never been solely accused of spreading the flu so how is this different?
What you need to understand is that if Novo or any other company takes us out of the field, they may realize they don’t need all of us back.
You say to think long term, that’s long term. Be very careful what you wish for.

Failed leadership. Pathetically leadership.
No leadership. When faced with the option of doing the right thing we don’t. When faced with a opportunity to set the right example for the industry we don’t. Faced with the opportunity to lead we don’t. And faced with the opportunity to take care of our employees and community we don’t. Take social and environmental out of our responsibilities and keep financial because this is who we are and who we have been the last 5 years. Culture out the window our actions are who we are and sets our culture

Relax. Be a professional and don't freak out along with the rest of the public. Novo is going to make an announcement today about this, reps are not going out in the field right now. i don't have this 100% confirmed but that is what I am feeling. Stay tuned, and try to keep in mind lots of moving parts at work here, not just you.

I have to agree with you here. Even though some may want an extended 'vacation' at home, if it's too extended and we all figure out how to make things work sans rep, that might be an issue...

I have multiple children at home. Believe me, I’d prefer to be at work.

We need to do the right thing, though.

I’m glad they have decided to pull us for safety. Doctors in my area are not worried about, or treating diabetes right now- patients are no shows or are cancelling appointments unless they are sick. I wonder how this will effect numbers and goaling though?

we’ll see but I’m perfectly happy to get my base salary right now.

A decision made by other companies early in the week. The right decision is right in front of you. Novo is a leader in being late to the game.

Looks like you stfu pretty quickly, huh? I know you like things to run exactly on your schedule and done exactly the way you want it, but it doesn’t make someone a bad leader because they don’t act like you. A bad leader calls people names and criticizes them without cause. Yeah....that was you. Thanks for playing. Go ahead and sit in the corner for a while now.

Didn’t know we still had DCA’s

Look at you, big guy! You said ‘labia’ and ‘anal sphincter’. Isn’t that just soooo funny. I bet the rest of those 7th graders are laughing too!
This is no laughing matter. A diabetes educator at one of my biggest endo has a coronia lesion of the foreskin and glans schmegma, a waxy substance unknown in Asia.

We should all stay home and do phone details.
