Have you heard of the large scale project “The Future of Work”? (FOW) It’s being led by Thomas Bonato and has been underway for 1 year now.
so what have you heard about FOW?
……..probably not much as all participants have had to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements.
……but this agreements are only as good as the paper that they are signed on. Especially when they are used to hide illegal activities against workers who are protected by Various laws of countries and states.
so what are we hearing? (This is the audience participation time!!)
1) AZ will close its Wilmington Campus in the near future. Prospective tenants were being walked around the building today.
2) AZ will look to move all possible positions to lower cost geographies. This includes India, Poland and Mexico.
3) Local marketing companies in Europe and International areas will move to regional Hubs to lower the footprint and overall cost structure.
4)Sales forces will leverage new “just in time” targeting capabilities that will allow more efficient (eg LESS!) sales reps and MSLs to only call on doctors when a computer determines it is the right time. Pilots underway across Europe now to lay this ground work. (Named the AstraZeneca Brain)
5)Dave Fredrickson will assume the CEO position and this will likely be announced in April
5) OBU and BBU will possibly be consolidated again so that each Country or regional President will have total business control of their sales and marketing efforts.
