Astellas Lawsuits

BOOOOO WHOOOOO!!!!! I'm a woman and I didn't get a big raise or a big promotion! Maybe you just really suck at what you do and they can't figure out how to get your sorry ass out the door.

Pleaaassee!!..astellas has chased away the majority of the great female leaders. It is becoming embarrassing to say I work here. It's known at the frat pharma company. No pipeline; only testosterone!

Lunacy! Obviously you don't really work for APUS. No women in leadership? News flash: Linda Friedman and Collette Taylor are women. Read your email. What's embarrassing is watching unqualified minorities promoted time and again so that APUS can check the box for Uncle Sam. There are plenty of qualified minority candidates at APUS but apparently they don't want these jobs so we get DE, SW, @ SP as mgrs (just to name a few). If I were the judge I'd laugh your chip on your shoulder ass right out of court.

Law suites - Need help here, trying to find if anyone has filed suite against Astellas for any reasons other then unlawful termination. Those are being filed weekly. Look to the West.

I know of EEOC charges for unfair treatment, and lawsuits filed for unlawful termination. Astellas has DEEP pockets and it's virtually impossible to win against the company. What will happen is you will be 'worn down' by the process, you'll spend a lot of money, only to learn that you are an "at will" employee and can be terminated for any reason (ie even for wearing the wrong kind of shoes, or because you are left-handed etc... any stupid reason they choose).

Unfortunately, the only satisfaction you'll get is that the company was hassled a little by your attorney and had to respond to all of your allegations etc... Trust me, when Astellas responds to your allegations, you'll be made out to be the problem...you will be at fault. They will "spin" things in their response to make you look like you "deserved" what happened to you. The corporate attorneys are very good at what they do. Not sure how they live with themselves and sleep at night - I am sure they are handsomely compensated!!! Sad, but true!

I don't mean to be discouraging, but want to tell you what has happened!

You can only file a lawsuit if you were discriminated against, ie, race, sex, etc... also for sexual harassment. If you qualify for the above, you have to go to the EEOC.gov first.

Astellas is about to get hit with at least 2 more lawsuits within the next few weeks for age discrimination and harassment.

I hope the individuals have some good solid evidence. Astellas has some very clever attorneys who can "spin" a discrimination or harassment charge in such a way that somehow the accuser is: 1.guilty of some compliance issue, or 2. a "non performer", or 3. insubordinate, or 4. etc.... on and on and on....

Believe me, they have a big "bag of tricks" in their armamentarium to rip an accuser to shreds. I've seen it happen over and over...

I really hope for the best for the individuals who will be filing those lawsuits. Keep us updated!

There have been several age discrimination,
A couple sexual harassment, and one racial
Cases.
Age discrimination has been the lion share.
You will notice how there are few long timers left.
Astellas looks to get rid of older hirer salary reps with
A declining portfolio. Why pay $100 k when
You can replace them for 80k.
I've never seen such a sleazy company that
Harasses people to leave rather than
do the honorable thing and offer a severance.
This company went down hill a few years back.
Same. It once had integrity.

New EEOC law suite on the way! Things will be Rockin in the Gateway to the West. Bud Lite leads to a bad night.

EEOC fun at the NSM - Everyone ask RSM's from Illinois, if the Astellas lawyers will back up drunken behavior; drinking during business hours, drunken behavior at business related events. Drinking & driving.

Did you know that taped conversations are admissable in EEOC law suites. Hey, I'll have a Bud Lite too

See ya at the NSM
