Associate Coronary Position - good move???

Was approached on an associate position in the Midwest and wanted to get some insight on if this would be a good time to join Abbott....pay to expect? Corporate culture?? Management??? Are these products based solely on contracts? No cath lab experience.

good pay, good management depending on RM. Corporate culture on device side is good. Bi yearly meetings are "fun." good time to get away and let loose.

it would be nice to have lab experience though. i would take an associate/clinical/tm with lab experience any day over someone with only sales experience.

product bulking is better, consignment is good enough.

You are selling a commodity. Sell toilet paper? Sell soap? Sell stents, guide wires and balloons.

Lab experience is cool, but it is not a deal breaker. It's about relationships and that happens outside of the lab.
