Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) is calling for an investigation into pharmaceutical giant Novartis, after it paid President Trump's personal attorney Michael Cohen a total of $1.2 million, according to a source familiar with the matter.

Hey Harry, Felix, in hindsight, don't you think $7m in litigation provisions were a bit insufficient?
I guess you were both "in the dark" like Vas on Joe's dealings, or simply thought the world would never learn of this ethically questionable transaction with Trump's personal atty.

In other news, Trump to Drop Call for Medicare to Negotiate Lower Drug Prices

If the NYT story holds, then Avenatti going public with his bombshell report could not have had been better timed....

Time to spend some more millions on Essential "Crisis Communications" Consultants?

On Friday, Trump effectively dropped his campaign pledge to have Medicare directly negotiate with pharmaceutical manufacturers.

No matter how coincidental this turn of events was to the Cohen arrangement, people will want to believe that Novartis paid to influence Trump's policy towards this outcome.

Vas was right: facts do not matter.
