Arrested last weekend

No. Not unless it's a DWI. See an attorney to check into getting it expunged immediately. It will effect future employment if you don't work towards getting off your record. Also, pay the $200-250 to consult with an attorney. You'll feel better after know where you stand and what you can do about it.

I told my DM about my arrest and he had me come over to his apartment for an "emergency full body cavity search". Is this according to company policy? Serious replies only please because I have not been able to walk in a straight line since the search. The worst part was the DM had Showtunes blaring on his stereo throughout the probing and invasive search!

Are we required to tell out DM or HR about arrests after employment? Serious replies only please.

I don't know what your employment agreement says. An arrest isn't a conviction. If you lose your license as a result of an arrest, have your attorney get it back until your trial. Sounds like you had a bad weekend. If you want a serous reply, find another place to ask the question. This place is a cesspool.

Had a similar situation happen to me last year. I hired one of the best attorney's in the city and he got the charges thrown out on a technicality. Do the research on law sites and find quality representation. You will have to shell out some paper, but it's totally worth the investment IMO. Get a DD or a cab from now on. DWI's are not cheap and they can ruin your professional reputation. Hope this helps. Good luck!
