Are you proud to be a salesperson?

The fact is most of us barely got through college. We have no talents. We can't build things. We are not healthcare professionals. The only talent we have is that we are bullshit artists. Once this industry goes there's not much left for us to do. It's depressing, I've should have applied myself more in college and partied less.

The past is the past! Move on! Yeah, I am proud. If I did this job at the minimum, didn't give a crap, was a liar about my time, effort, expenses, etc...yes, I would be ashamed. However, doing the right thing no matter what my manager says they see, working hard and not letting my partners down, making over 100k with a liberal arts degree, being true to myself, having integrity. Yes, I am very proud.

ITS NOT A SALES JOB. ITS A MARKETIING JOB. And thats ok guys. You market you product and give the info and show why its so great. saying "will you" or anything doesn't mean your selling. Most docs will write if its good. if not who cares. Forest is a awful company with shitty young managers, but this guy has it right. Im gonna do right, not be a scumbag and do my job and not let shitty managers be a problem.

I used to work there and did it exactly like you are. I was making decent money, putting up with a c.u.n.t. of a manager, and working my ass off. I was true to myself as well. Then I woke the fuck up, took the IV of kool aid out of my arm and realized what a crappy company I actually worked for. Useless management. Crap products (except Namenda) that cost too much. Heaping helpings of spoon fed lies at POA's, etc. Shitty asshole partners who were fucking slackers - AND because they kissed so much manager ass they never got looked at in a bad light. Saw others in my pod get run out of a job (even though they were BIG producers, just because their manager didnt like them doing it "their way" - and saw NO ONE stick up for them) Get a clue buddy. YOUR way is going to get you fired. The RIGHT way will get you fired from a company that operates the WRONG way. FOREST is hands down the WORST, MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, shitbag company I have EVER worked for. Hands down. Oh, and by the way, I again, did it the right way. Its a shame that douchebags like you turn your head and pretend that they work for a good company. Im sure you give your former Enterprise rent a douche new manager reach arounds during field rides too to keep your scores up huh? FOREST is the lowest of the pharma low besides contract work buddy. Again, get a clue.

I think we may have worked on the same team! But then again, this seems to be the norm for Forest. You couldn't have said it any better! Glad to be gone!
