Are OBGYN/PCP reps safe for promoting PPD?

Consider the PPD market size, available options, the details of our label and likely premium price structure and ask yourself if it is likely to generate enough revenue to support a sales organization of the size we are.

I’ll hang up and listen.

I agree. While I’m excited about the PPD approval and was looking forward to launching this product I don’t feel very confident right now. I don’t see how this alone can support the launch. There label is concerning, the price will be high and it’s a small market compared to MDD. Maybe they keep some PPD reps and do like a phase 1 launch in bigger markets then will rehire for phase 2 if they get the MDD approval down the road.

Is anyone still excited about Sage?
I feel super bad for the psych side…..so I’m not trying to be insensitive, but what really has changed for Sages in-house OBGYN sales force? PPD is still a huge issue with lots of women who could and will benefit from a new medicine (I know it won’t be easy and the drug has some baggage but so do the treatments out there now). Please don’t attack me if I’m missing something.
And the Biogen side of my experience has been meh…..I was underwhelmed with the Biogen manager I had to interview with. Everyone on the Sage side seemed way more positive and nice anyway. I come from the OBGYN world anyway, so maybe I think this because I’m not used to the psych world.
