Texas- are you paying attention? What are we doing about the physician owned OBG lab opening here in Dallas? How is this not self referral? I have let compliance know and nothing has been done. We will lose all of our large multi doc practices. How long will it last? I've already lost two practices in my territory.

Anyone know who they are sending genetics to? What insurances they are in network with?

You might get a long winded self important response, which most definitely involves a lack of accountability on his end, but you're sure to get some kind of very overly explained point that adds up to very little substance. Just try not to get jealous of his air time that he makes available for himself and his pseudo-celebrity status as an asshole.

Being dishonest doesn't make you high rent either. It just makes you look like you lack confidence in doing business the right way and not stealing from others more talented than you just to increase your size of the pie. If you work hard and truly believe in capitalism, then you wouldn't have to create scams to keep yourself from having to break a sweat.
You probably can't even conceive of this which is very sad for you!

Ownership of your performance must be painful and humiliating, but that does not excuse you from it as long as we still employ you. Face the facts, son, and stop blaming others who succeed for your position far below them.

If you understood the numbers and knew how to bring the right test mix to make them work then you also could be rich beyond your wildest dreams. Instead, you are a disappoint to your clients, your co-workers, your employer and as a human being.

Speaking of relevance, what in the hell does the Solstace acquisition have to do with this discussion; and the talk of big leagues has more in common with baseball branded chewing gum than it does wealth or success at Quest. There is a reason that Lab Corp lords over us in taking over accounts that were loyalists of ours for years for years. I'll let you think on that for a bit.

Don't concern yourself with matters that are far out of your control or understanding. You speak the language of failure and defeat. It is no wonder that you are being lorded over by such a weak competitor. Perhaps, if you followed the advice offered by many of your successful peers posting on this board, and tried owning your performance and adding value at every turn, your lot in life wold improve. Give it a try, son. You have nowhere to go but up. And it is correct that the SLP acquisition was a debacle.
