Arbitrary PTO Policy

I have never seen a moronic policy such as this one. We were always told in the launch that it is ok not to take vacation since we are in the 'launch mode'. Stupid and trusting tht I am, I followed their advice since I am very excited to be part of a growing company. A company that is a cut above the rest that management team (accdg) to them comprises of the best abd the brightest. Now look where we are. Moral is at all time low and retention will be the biggest problem for this company. A company that tells you one thing and dies another thing says a lot about your bosses characters

obviously you did this on your smart phone so the spelling is ...well...

anyway..there is no credibility at Amarin. They are not honest people. Joe Z should be indicted by the SEC for fraud. Rick just goes with the flow.
The reality is they are running out of cash. There already have been managers and reps leaving.
Time to start looking.

Is he going with the flow or making it flow?

Talking with someone from NJ and they said they are all looking as they KNOW time is running out and so is the money. Everyone thought we would have a quick sale and we would not be in the mess we are in today. Sr mgmt. is clueless on how to right ship.

Recently met with a couple of mid management people, they mentioned that morale is very low and thy just have a feeling that 'the boat is sinking'. How can a promising company come unhinged so quickly? Upper management maybe?

Or maybe because of an inferior me too product!

I dont think Vascepa is inferior and a me too at all. I believe it has all to do with who is managing up top. The science behind the product is solid but unfortunately decisions are being made up high that does not make total sense at all to the everyday folks in the street that are pushing the product.

I can tell that should this issue drag on, many employees might just go along with it but their hearts and minds would be somewhere else. This very issue is the source of an environment where reps could not care less what happens in the field. I can see most of them would be 'checking out', riding it for the summer and then look for another gig. Amarin's management thinks that because the reps are working for them, they can do whatever they feel like and the reps owe it to them. Just remember, you are not the only game in town.
