April Fools' Day

CEO promised a few product launches this year. It is already three months into the year and it looks like some of the timelines are starting to slip. He would be wise really put a fire to the entire D+R organization now so that we make the delivery dates promised.

Regulatory approvals need a lot more of the scientists working to make them a success. Too few of the scientists have responsibility for making this happen. They are overworked and the scientists that are not working on regulatory approvals have little to do. Shifting some resources to help out the regulatory scientists would make a lot of sense at this stage of the game.

You are all a bunch of numbnuts! Acquired
posterior segment platform last week
and great Phase 2 results on glaucoma drug
this week. What the hell do you need see?
How about a little positive reaction for a
change? Better yet, tender your resignation
and go work somewhere else.....we don't
want or need you here.

you're a numbnut for believing anything out of the company and you're cheer leading something you don't even know anything about that won't be released for YEARS... if ever.

Bausch wouldn't say what the posterior platform is or who it came from. You know NOTHING about it. How'd retisert work out... it's in the proof of principle research stage. really? What's that? let me guess. A friend of a friend of one of the crooked cronies in B&L says I have an idea. They pay the doctor that came up with the idea, in exchange he's a high prescriber /speaker now. Look for retinal docs who started Rx'ing a boat load of B&L products lately. That's your founder of the novel technology. Probably one of KKs old Retina buddies out in california, or one of Warburgs buddies that owns a research company some where.

as for the glaucoma product, same thing. years before it comes out and when it does, it will be a grind. None of this is ground breaking new technology that will change the way people RX. Those days at B&L are over.

I saw the same thing. B+L bought a posterior segment technology but they will not say what it is. Why bother to announce it. All just BS to keep the Chairman and CEO making high salaries for as long as possible.

WP really needs a third party to come in and assess D&R for efficiency and viability of the projects. Of course the CEO and Chairman will paint a rosy picture for as long as possible. An overhaul wwill save a complete disaster in the future.

You are out of your frigging mind if you think the glaucoma med makes it within 2-3 years....if ever!

B&L is doing just fine. Contact lens & solution.

This site is for the Pharma sales people.

Rx B&L pharma is a joke. The job is a joke.
The management is a Joke. The VP is a joke. KK is a joke. Brent is a joke. Warburg is out to suck out money.

The point is. There is no career. It's a day to day job. Schlepping crappy me too products.

I post on here for 1 reason. To keep people considering a job there in RX from leaving another job and going in blindly.

I also like to keep the corporate BS spin in check that the seagull management that flew in here likes to crap all over the place. Both KK and PS are extremely over paid idiots. How they ever were promoted to those positions is both a mystery and a disservice to what was a great division to work for 5 years ago.

You are very right. The Rx professionals here at B&L that have deep roots are good, solid people. The shame is the corruption of the system that swept in after WP took over. Flemming brought in his team, but they did not follow him out the door.
