I've had a phone screen. I realize it's far too early to ask what the range is. Can anyone share please. I have had 8 years of experience--called on CMHC, etc. Range please? Thanks--I realize it will be averages .

Keep in mind that there are two types of sales positions being filled: Account Manager- Neuroscience, and Account Manager-Hospital. There could be a salary difference between these two positions, so be sure to clarify before making statements one way or the other.

As an aside, I think that your recruiter would happily provide the salary range for you. Did you think to ask him/her?

Thanks.

I have 13 years of psych experience--good numbers, etc. I'm applying for an Account Manager position. What, in one's opinion, will be the max? Thanks. I'm not wanting to ask the recruiter this early on.

I can't believe you ever successful at sales if you are too scared to ask a recruiter for the salary range of a job. How did you ever make a close?

Correction: There are two kinds of sales positions, but they are in different divisions. The current interviews are for the Neuroscience division. They do have postings for AM-Hospital jobs as well, however, those are for a Cardio/Renal product. They will not begin hiring for those jobs until well into the summer. Hope that helps clear things up.

Simple formula to figure your salary range......

A. Take your current base salary.
B. Add 5-8% on top of it.
C. You get your salary range.

Let me know if you get confused and need further help.

If current AM Hospital positions are for cardio why do they want neuroscience experience?

The currently posted AM Hospital positions are for the Cardio/Renal product, which is not in the Neuroscience Division. They do not require Neuroscience experience for those positions. They have also not begun interviews for those roles yet either.
