Appeal for Lower Rating

So due to some recent developments with my family, I will have to leave Novartis in October to move overseas. It would be a shame if I kept my job and another rep in my territory lost theirs, only to quit a few months later.

Any ideas, advice, or previous experience in appealing for a lower rating on a year end review? Just a shot in the dark at this point...doing what I can to stack the deck against me.

If you follow Novartis work ethic and logic do the following since this is how it usually turns out:

Work hard and try for a 3 you'll get a 1

If you slack and go for a 1 you'll end up with a 3

Reality is: It absolutely doesn't matter it has all been decided by now. Chances are in your favor that your gone so don't sweat it.

That's the way it works in Kansas City.
