Anything dynamic going on in this industry or some old nonsense?

Did my ten plus years as a naive fool, in this industry. Much regret that I have to deal with for the rest of my life.

Was wondering if anything new is going on, however, as people ask me if they should take this "career" (hahaha) path.

I tell them NO.

There comes a time when everyone in this industry hates it. But, where can we go at our age and make the same or better money?

Its a tough road for many of us.
Key to everything is finding a smart manager that 'gets it".
Unfortunately, there are not many intelligent managers in this industry. Majority are "yes" men with little business savvy.
