I saw a demo of the stapler from Cardica... it is smaller than the stapler we went to market with, and has more articulation as well.

This was a few years ago... I think the stapler we ended up using came from the deal with Power Medical (since bought by Covidien), but that was before my time.

It will be interesting to see if we can find a way to implement Cardica's stapler.
