I am tired of windshield time. I'd rather do it online if I could. How does that work? Do they expect you to web detail non-stop for 8 hours? That could be intense. Anyone know if the compensation is the same? Any car $$$$ offset?

Think about it: you are using the phone to call on doctors so worthless that they aren't even added to the bottom of our calls plans, you are under the watch of management for the full day, EVERY day, and you lose the freedom, flexibility, and other perks a field position give you (car or c/a). You'd also have to be local to HQ. I hear the salary is so-so, but I really can't see a logical reason to do that unless you had some warped vision of moving up the corporate ladder of this company. Maybe it gets you more FaceTime with those in the know. Me? I'd rather enjoy my freedom on the outside of shawshank.
Where did you hear about this, is the position from a home office. Might not be so bad, not having to feed the heard of cattle office staff, looking at their ugly fat asses begging for a free meal to feed their family. I think that some office staff get off on trying to abuse reps.
I am within commutable distance to Yardley and wouldn't mind an inside gig. Anyone have any experience doing this? Is the pay decent?
Sorry to burst your bubble.There are less than 10 people who work at headquarters. All of the phone reps are not based out of Yardley.
Biggest drawback I see would be losing a car or allowance, I doubt they'd pay higher to offset that loss. More like a way into pharma sales than a way out

If you're considering a phone rep job, then look into contarcting as a web cam model. The work environment is less presurized and you can choose which "clients" you want to "detail".
