Anyone jumping ship after the bankruptcy stuff?

No way a non compete would hold up with everything going on with this company. Thinking about heading for higher ground. Anyone else contemplating leaving after the BR crap?

I'm an lcm with very valuable experience and I certainly know how to straighten shit out at my branch (and any others they assign me to).
I'm never going anywhere, and I seriously doubt Rotech would ever cease to exist without clearing it with me first.

Now wait....were you not the one that said you only did "adult" convo's ???

Let us all guess...after another post or two from others you will jump back on and pretend to be "Butch".

Here is another HA HA HA HA to add to the other one!

Why don't you check where the CMS Round #2 Bids were won in W-PA and apply for a new SR job with them? Maybe then you will be a successful SR.

Good luck coming back into the DME business if you get one. :0)

I really feel they would only follow through in the Metro areas, due to a true lack of funds.

Good luck to anyone who is riding the next round of this roller coaster ride.

Most of the urban markets where they do not have contracts are toast in the future in my opinion even if they have VA there because they make almost nothing off the VA. Where those newly hit markets will be in round 3 is a crap shoot at this point. The rural markets at full reimbursment still are the ones that will continue to make a small profit and survive. Heck, if they end up eating a 42% cut anyway in round 2 when it goes into effect in July many of the places they actually got contracts may not make it also. Not sure where the .gov is going with all this but Rotech is in the worst shape of all the big companies at this point. If I were ANY employee in any larger city I would hit the road to a more stable company. Or atleast have a plan B ready to roll and transition out before it all falls apart and it is to late.

Plus, by the winning bidders list it appears Rotech once again was only focused on the O2. When will they ever look at other "eggs" for their basket.

Funny too how Wally World will be cashing in on the walkers and etc....but in reality will be able to grab much more from them.

With them doing the walkers and etc., it will allow the Rotech locations to use their PST's much better by doing a delivery of monthly generating items and not a one off purchase.

That is probibly the number one reason why they are in the situation they are currently experiencing. No creativity or product additions in this market equals failure at this point in the game. If you solely depend on insurance reimbursement these days for your success and growth you are at the mercy of a governmental system that is heavily in debt at both the Federal and State levels. Not a good business strategy to depend on that revenue continuing into the future IMHO.

Even something as simple and basic as custom cpap supplies(custom made tube covers and things like that) would generate some extra revenue across many locations. Unfortunately even basic add ons that make so much sense have never even been considered. Isnt it Tony Robbins who says trying the same thing over and over and over with the same negative result is insanity? Case in point. They should have gone in a different direction a long time ago and been more creative. Now it is more then likely to late because the time to start developing those things was years ago once they saw this coming. Its kinda like a panic and trying to come up with a strategy to keep a ship from sinking right as the water is hitting the deck after you have been sitting there for hours watching as the boat went lower and lower in the water. The saddest thing about the whole situation is that some better creative decisions a few years ago and I think they would be in a different situation right now. At this point though, who knows what will happen. Ultimately, their management has seemed to have no strategic foresight for years. And I do not see any kind of change in that based on who is still in charge and on the board.

WRONG!
You conveniently neglect mention of our primary growth protocol - Buying DME companies.
And even though we often eventually alienate those acquisitioned company's referral sources, by then we are able to Grid and Milk every possible revenue path connected with those new existing patients.

We are confident that in the end, this business model will somehow be proven effective.
One does'nt switch horses in the middle of the race. You go with the horse that got you there.

Stick with what got you there? Are you kidding? You mean what got you to the point of being in the process of Bankruptcy and heavily in debt? Then if that is the case then I am sure they will be very good at doing the same exact thing all over again with the same horse running the company even further into the ground. You are very right, thats the horse that got them there and they should stick with it then I guess to have similar results.
