Especially if you interviewed in LA 2/16-17?

I called yesterday and got the same spchiel about they have all my info and are still considering the candidates. Yes, I'll know either way.

So I was asking when they would wrap up notifications, because I need to do some travel rearranging for an already scheduled vacation if I do get this job. The HR rep asked, "Oh when is you vacation?" I replied, "It's the 2nd week of April." She says, "You'll know by then, it's only March. But if you don't hear anything by April 1, we could call..." (Um, in order to get our entire refund on our condo, we need to back out 30 days in advance...)

Anyway, just thought it was funny that they thought 21 days between interview and offer was no big deal. I know that Lilly can handle this however it wants, but I've never waited longer than 10 days for an offer post-interview. In fact, I've interviewed and had to go back to 2nd choice candidates 2 weeks later and they were already gone. I suppose its because the market is so slow right now.

I heard plenty. The layoffs are accelerating. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Some had jobs post-Lilly lined up, most didn't. These are the folks you will be replacing.

You are truly a lost soul if you really believe that Lilly will share any news with you!!!!

Well, good. Sign me up. The lowest number on the salary range I was given was $15,000 more than I made at my last job in another industry...more creative type of position. I'd be happy to take whatever they are offering.

All the eggs are not in one basket, but this is the latest interview I've had. Like I said, it's a particularly slow market.
