Anyone Hear From HR on Lawsuit loss on Promoting off Label

I just had a call from HR informing me I would be receiving a "Conduct Memo" in regards to Novartias' belief that I had not followed guidlines when detailing MDs bin 2003! I had to go be grilled by a a couple attorneys that had no idea what they were asking and what I was replying with! Now I am stuck with the stupid memo. I going to appeal it and don't believe for one minute this won't affect reviews, increases or promotions! Novartis has lied for sooo long to soooo many that there is no way they could ever hope to see passed the end of their big fat lying nose! I hate this company and am about at the end of my rope. Let me know if you have been contacted and what you are going to do. I am working w/attorney already!

What area are you from? Just got call!

What product(s)? That would also be hard to do if it was a product that N plead guilty for off-label promotion. Some of those products were clearly directed from above via communications to do so. Bring it on! I kept my files.

Yup- I was also contacted.
Look, just leave it alone...it's internal only. Be happy that you have a job because some heads will roll. Leave if you can, but you are one of the lucky ones. Buck up.

There are Oncology and Gen Med products involved. Yes, I agree lucky to still have job. Maybe even luckier as I am part of the other Class Action Gender suit. I am and will now be searching even harder for a new job. Sadly I only needed a few more years to be eligable for benefits I don't want to loose.

They should be looking into fanapt promotion. Territory goals were built on volume of many physicians treating primarily kids or otherwise little schizo patient volume. Hence much of fanapt written off-label. Clearly outside CIA agreement. This always elephant in room at meetings and ignored by APMs and RDs when questioned.

Isn't that the way it always is with this company. Tell us to do something turn their head the other way and then look who gets in trouble for it! Bunch of Bastards! They have ruined it for me. Yes and no answers on emails from now on. No info out of me.... might get me into trouble!

Has anybody lost their jobs relating to these "internal investigations"? Why would something that occured in 2003 be brought up at this point? How the hell can you even remember what you did that far back....doesn't make sense.

The only "evidence" they might have are call notes. If that's the case answer, "my manager and sales training told me I should promote that way. I didn't know it was wrong until later in my career." If they ask you why you didn't, ask them to show you where they taught you in 2003 the difference between selling on-label and off-label. This training did not exist back then.

Don't forget email. Two rules to live by regarding email. 1. Never generate a "Novartis" email unless absolutely necessary. 2. If one must generate email, do not include product name. It's easier to follow these rules than you might think.

I agree with no product names in emails from here on out! Most likely not many emails from me at all. Very unfortunate as I get good info from my docs and know my boss would like to know what I hear. Guess I will just wait for those wonderful days in the field together
