Anyone have experience working for Madrigal Pharmaceuticals?

I'm seeing job listings for Madrigal, and I'm interested in the opportunity.
However, there is little information about this company in the public domain beyond it's discovery strategy and buyout interests.

Has anyone worked for Madrigal that can talk about the culture, leadership style and future (i.e., sell out to big pharma vs. growing the company)? How would you compare it to other more familiar companies that you've worked for?

Thanks!

New sales force. They will be bought by Pfizer or Abbvie. Beware of garbage leadership from Salix. D-list! They will likely be bought before launch.

Bill Sibold the new CEO is from Biogen and Genzyme. Was a decent guy back at Biogen. And the Genzyme culture stayed amazing even after Sanofi buyout. But who knows what he will do or hire.

As a current employee at Madrigal, all I can say is you're lucky you are NOT here. I am currently looking for other opportunities. This is by far the most fake, micromanaged, toxic work culture. We were brought in with the promise of a great package and culture and well, that's complete BS. Comp plan has changed twice since launch (March 14th), completely matrix driven yet they cant get their systems to record things properly, so proper credit is not given and the culture is by far the WORST I have experienced. From direct management, to marketing, to the ELT. There are nefarious people starting from the top down. Great medication, no question about it. All of the people here are just trying to make quick money before the company is bought out, probably by Sanofi... no surprise since this place is basically a Sanofi spin off sprinkled in with the toxicity of Salix reps. They also over scaled so if they don't get bought out soon, lots of good people will lose their jobs. All that glitters is NOT gold... RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
