Anyone ever go from pharma sales to a CRA position?

That seems to be the focus these days for Q, just curious to hear from anyone who made that switch. I'm sure the pay is not as good, but I would guess that the long-term career prospects and security would be better.

You'd need some sort of science, preferably biology, degree and actually be somewhat intelligent. That's going to eliminate most of the prospective applicants from the Pharma rank right there. It's a catch 22 with many CRA jobs, everyone wants experience but no one wants to be the one to allow you to get it. Big geographies and lots of travel too. You'll actually have to work in the role.

That's fucking hilarious. You have ZERO qualifications for a job like this coming from sales, as the job does not require several trips to and from Panera Bread each day.

Fuck off.....
