You all thought you were so great when you were laterally promoted over to OBU and now that you can't move product, KK wants the NBU people who werent as good as the few "chosen" ones from NBU or her BL superstars to bail you out?
 












Look, don't blame each other with misguided anger. This all rests on our asshole leadership. The three stooges of PS, KK and KC are NOT capable if running these divisions and much less an entire company. They are in way over their heads and implement tactics (notice I didn't say strategy) from a long gone timeframe because its all they know.

We should all do our own thing, stay off the radar and take care of yourselves. Lord knows these three are not looking out for us one bit.

NBU- our national numbers this week are 98% so why are people on here referring to the NBU as the "A team". What forecasting shows, we're not even killing it with our own product! But we all know these numbers are extremely off and have been for a while. So let's just imagine for a moment if leadership MIGHT have also messed this up for OBU. Just a thought.
 






Just remember one thing NBU, Perry is known to sandbag your number. For example he adds a point or two so when you are at 98% you most likely at 100-101% of what he needs to make his goal attainment. The sales number never matches up to his overall number. Do the math... if Shire hits its number but the sales team didn't, you've been rooked!

You are correct on all your points. We (NBU) are the A Team with ADHD it's true. But do you really think we're the A Team with eye care? I don't! Although with one more hour and a half conference call about Xiidra I think I might be there *eye roll*. Everything else I think is right on. Our money is going to pay for other things that they've over promised and under delivered when it should be going to us, the ones out there killing it!

Um, who said we can't or aren't moving product? That is not the issue. Allergan had 4 reps and are hiring more per territory. It's a share of voice issue. At less than six months most of us are over, at or near 50% market share. That's incredible, actually. Also, the market has increased due to all the noise. We still have no insurance coverage in the Medicare marketplace so throw that into the equation. So before you go spouting off and accusing this team that slammed our 1st quarter of launch of not moving product, get your facts straight and your nose out of the air. Don't expect to be a lot of help on a product you don't understand with a marketplace you have never called on-one dominated by relationships-that you don't have. You are there to increase share of voice. Thank you.

I get it, a 90-minute conference call certainly is not enough to fully immerse you into eyecare so I'm going to break it down for you. Who are the largest volume eyecare offices? The docs that do cataract surgery. What age are cataract patients? Medicare age. What is Xiidra coverage for our Medicare patients? ZERO percent. The 84% coverage is a very pretty number that focuses on "commercial plans at a national level", but when you break it down into employer carve outs, there's prior auths, step edits, etc. You'll find out soon enough what we're up against. In most accounts, I really don't mind the extra NBU share of voice- you want to drop off a blue card and get a signature, be my guest. But please, please listen to us when we explain accounts that have politics and back stories in place, and stay away when asked. We're all on the same team and should never be pitted against each other. I would have zero clue how to call on ADHD docs. Just don't expect to be making huge impact on these OBU accounts- that'll happen in time with better coverage, because it really is a great drug. Old school pharma loves the "efficacy sells!" message but in today's day, managed care controls the conversation, or we'd be kicking ass by now.

Yep, this is pretty accurate. Great drug, on it myself and now I can wear my contacts. Drug will really take off when we get Medicare coverage and the gaps in commercial are filled. I know the NBU has enough on their plate and I hate this for you, but please don't hate on the OBU. This is not our idea, but we do get a check direct deposited every other week to do what mgmt says...no matter if it makes sense or not. Bet NBU will stop this Xiidra promotion when y'all launch your new drug.

Completely agree. Plus, I think they're sandbagging our bonuses for our launch so it will look like they're paying us "big launch money" when in reality it's just our deferred bonuses. Fingers crossed they even do that!!!
