Did you get an actual "number" or just a verbal offer that they were going to move forward with you? I heard offers may be on Friday.

I stayed and interviewed with RD. I really don't think there were any same day offers, maybe verbal.
There were many candidates with past relationships with hiring managers, so there were "sure things!"
There were far too many interviews and too many who had the job prior to the process. Most of open positions were "filled" even before recruiter put out phone calls and scheduled interviews.
This company moves really fast. When I was hired ( 4 months ago) the whole process from when the recruiter first called to the actual job offer was exactly two weeks. Its a very good company, but they give you alot of little busy work stuff, and expect you to do a ton of dinner programs, lunch teleconference stuff, etc. No big deal, as they pay well and the benefits are good. Anybody who gets an offer feel fortunate because as we all know this industry is shrinking by the day.
I am nervous about this "previous relationship" issue. I am from neither Janssen nor Pfizer. I am very well-qualified to sell the Abilify depot, but I worry that I don't know the right people.
Wait. I must be missing something. Pfizer doesn't have a depot. How would Pfizer managers meet the position requirements set forth in the job description? ... are they including experience with Geodon IM as having "injectables" experience?

From what I am hearing you have to have everything on the check list to even qualify for an interview. 1) Previous exp selling in a hospital 2) Neuro-science background of course
3) Established track record of getting drugs on hospital formulary
I am not from either company and was made an offer. There is hope!
I have anti psych exp. no inject or buy and bill and interviewing this week. So not true that you need all 3.
I have all of the requirements - the recruiter was very confident that I would get a f2f. She called me four times to keep me interested and now I will not be getting an interview. Must be VERY incestuous. Very disappointed.
Nepotism is at it's best for this hiring process. The truth will come out once the reps are in territory and it will not bode well for customer relationships! How stupid. Now you'll have 10 people selling Abilify. Welcome to Big Pfarma Otsuka!
