Obviously this is unprecedented times right now. I am curious if any companies have begun sales force layoffs and if so were they furloughed or just straight laid off? Hoping to weather the storm at our company, but it’s still so fluid

I am sure it is going to happen is your car monthly car allowance is going to disappear. If they tell you to collect unemployment they still have to pay but save on medical benefits. I could see this happening with the catalog companies. The privately held companies really don’t care because the owners only care about themselves.

ClearChoice just let everyone go. I can see where they might not make a comeback. I can see Nedodent going down the flusher because ClearChoice was their largest account. Straumann is not about to oay that salesforce.

I work for a smaller dental implant company. Half got laid off and half got furloughed. Basically the company is done. We did about 20 mil a year. Benco just furloughed 80% of their salesforce. I'm sure a bunch more have too but we haven't heard about it.

IDS- I foresee implant companies going to 1099 when this is over. People are going to be hard pressed to get implants. The all on four centers might become extinct. The smaller dealers that service the implant arena might see their demise and those that are owned by larger companies will be around.
