any room for negotiating here

Hey guys, i'm just starting the interview process for a sales role here on the east coat, just curious if anyone has had success with negotiating during the offer process if it will lead to that. I know some companies are a "this is your offer take it or leave it" and some have a little wiggle room. Would love to know about people's experience here. thanks.

I've only ever had 1 job in my life where nothing was negotiable, and that was through some 3rd-party hiring company. Just about any job, especially ones direct from the company, has wiggle room in the offer. Are you someone worth giving x dollars more to than the next person?

My advice is take the job, then find a small lab in the area, and see if you can work for both companies. Just don't tell anyone , and only promote our tests for what they are indicated for. There is nothing illegal if you do this , don't you have a family ? I do it and made $132,000 at Thermo and over $137,000 with my smaller lab, my client are happy because the lab I work for has much better service. My lab doesn't take all insurances so I am in the process to work for a second lab, my goal is $400,000 a year.

Good luck
