Here's how I see it. I got hired in from retail. Hated it for the first year. There has never been any real leadership from the top from anyone who knows what the hell to do with an IV antibiotic. A handful of sales reps knew, a few managers hired from the outside provided a lot of good guidence, and everyone else just figured it out.
So two years in, yep. I figured it out too. I figured out that the way we came in to this market was the opposite we should have. Iv'e ruined access in a few hospitals that may never come back because of the way I was pushed by my manager.
But, life is good now. I've got a new confidence with the drug, the insane pressure which ruins access has abated a bit and the retail mentality has dropped.
Now with a new ND, I hope she doesn't screw it up.
