Anti inflamm...advice/feedback please!!

Had 2 interviews so far...would have Lotimex, Zylet and Alrex. I know Lot.is dated..over 10yrs, but heard room for growth w/ post cataract. A friend in the industry said low potent steroids and in genteral, a good company, but concerned with what my product portfolio would be. I had 10yrs in big pharma with the same company(which i LOVEEEE) in specialty, a lot of success there and unfortunately a layoff. I currently have a job outside pharma(specialty pharmacy), which I really like (nice to hear 'we don't see reps.." but I get in b/c i'm not pharma... it's a fun gig, different, but I don't like the lack of support from the company, my manager and don't see room for growth. (not looking to be a regional or anything) I heard phenomenal things about who my DM would be. great things about who my overlap would be. THE CONCERN IS THIS PRODUCT PORTFOLIO.
lastly, had 2 interviews with CIBA/alcon division. air optics, etc would be my portfolio...
any thoughts on the above would be appreciated as i have NO OPTICS EXPERIENCE.

My Nospam question: Is a turtle fast or slow? If you have read even some of the threads on this board then you are slow like the turtle.

Private Equity sells companies. Companies on the NY stock exchange can merge or layoff but your company has just merged so not likely to merge or layoff again soon.

Private Equity = no job security

NY Stock Exchange Company = greater job security.

Chance are you could survive a second chance at layoff at a real company. At a private equity company that is sold off (Good Luck).

you are not getting hired now....managers read theses and you just id yourself.....

Yoe should be concerned about the portfolio. It is a dead end list of products. Once Lotemax goes generic it is all over for steroids. The realignment BL just completed is NOT working well. Whole pharma division will NEVER hit their goals for this year. Not likely to find buyer - asking too much. This will be a bankruptcy situation by end of year OR another reorganization back to old setup and massive layoffs. Stay where you are. Please.
 






Perry and his group of home office idiots should be held accountable for the realignment. Poor vision which everyone else could forsee was a poor idea. The same strategy failed at Novartis.

seriously?I thought b&L was a good company but I did hear a lot of reorg. stuff has been going on.but "massive"layoffs...really?I thought there was some good stuff in the pipeline for them? I sincerely appreciate your insights.(i'm the original poster...)
