Another One Bites the Dust

Glory be, Merck can't even put old meds together and pretend they're "new" anymore, let alone actually create real new meds! Generic Lipitor, Zocor, niacin, blah, blah, blah. They're all old. We shouldn't try to repackage them anyhow. More shame on us.

When your research lab is not discovering anything new, you get busy repackaging old stuff. Still, it helps Merck afloat a little bit longer and your checks coming. Don't rejoice over the failure. Laughable as the combo may be, it is still potential some extra $$.

No I read it in industry news. How sad that the general public has better info than we have on company issues. Ridiculous!

This is BB from the HQ. I know you have the most important job in the company. We feel this minor bump is not worthy to communicate to you. We do not want to distract you. We love you so much.

Speaking of bites...will your salesforce be selling the new bedbug medicine!

Oh yes, all of the reps---10 or 12 of them--- that remain after the axe swings will be focused on the only product Merck will have a few years from now. There are at least 30 patients in the world who really want this novel new therapy! Of course, it isn't novel or new, it's an old drug, just like every other novel and new therapy Merck introduces. What a crappy company this has become.
