Another NSM in June?







you put time out of territory nsm and the days don't count against you. Why are you sweating obu calls. Most don't even hit 7.5 nbu.
I won't hit half of the obu metric. Won't even be trying.

If your frequency is 7 that means you have to hit an average of seven calls on your OBU list. Time out of territory doesn't account for that so yes, you do need to make that and any vacation time, holidays POAs etc.., lunacy but that is the case. Myself, I'll have over 2 weeks time out of territory this month so I simply will not be able to make that up since I have 20+ OBU docs and 140 calls to place.

Who cares about the metric. There is nothing punitive. Obu won't hit goal anyway.

And... you're assuming there aren't consequences for not at least giving it an honest try? Remember who runs that division and she's not known for not getting what she wants. If you sit back and do nothing I wouldn't exactly feel confident there won't be repercussions for that.

If you make 8 calls a day total nothing they can do or lawsuit. You can't say one rep has to make 8 and one has to make 11. These days you can file suit for anything and this metric is inheritly discriminatory. I know this because my brother is an esq
 






Expect an NBU national meeting in June. At that time the OBU calls will end. This OBU metric was put into play for 2 reasons only. #1 to give an increase in share of voice to xiidra until they can figure out how to create a two OBU rep system and compensation plan and #2 make sure you are all out in the field during this transition and pre-launch. Therefore the signature requirement. They did this to OBU pre-launch, forcing them to get signatures for a PI. #TRACKING

You definitely "get it". God, I wish the NBU rep in my territory did, who is trying way too hard to hit these metrics and it's making it difficult for me to have sufficient time with my docs. Taking in managers is definitely NOT helping the situation......people just need to chill and check a box until this stupid co-promote is over. The LAST thing we need to do is piss off the docs......

Managers are expected to go into OBU offices when they are in the field w NBU reps. My manager has specifically made it clear that he would like to see some OBU calls on our field days. And I'm not going to say I'm not doing that to him just because it makes the OBU rep unhappy.

So if there's another NSM in June (q2), that means 5 more days out of territory to hit the OBU call matrix ?

Think about it- the OBU had two launch meetings last year. One for pi and one for actual product.
I'm sure they will do the same thing for NBU.

Week meeting is perfect - - - free food, free drinks, nice hotel bed, hook ups with my baes, and networking with the bosses! Bring it on!!!
