Another nail in the coffin. JP Morgan downgrade

Well, in case there is anyone left who thinks the company doesn’t stink, another downgrade by a major bank should put that matter to rest. We simply have the worst CEO in Pharma, and a Board that couldn’t manage itself out of a paper bag. I am so motivated to sell now!

It’s ridiculous! Stock down another 4% just this morning. The Shire board is asleep at the wheel and investors are getting hosed. Enough already.

Don’t sell while it’s down if you don’t need to. If it tanks more we could get acquired via hostile takeover and end up with stock in a high quality company.

Well they couldn’t sell the NBU, and the stock is down precisely because nobody sees a major upside or anything worth paying lots for, including the analysts. Plus, we all know if we are sold nobody will be taken care of except our crappy CEO.

What happened to all the geniuses that were on this board about 4 months ago posting “$160 is a great buy for Shire stock?” and “I’m definitely buying!”. Just rah rah Shire drones apparently.

So anyone wondering how the brilliant Executives will spin our downward spiral of our stock at the NSM? Let me guess, "oh Wall Street doesn't like bio pharma companies, all bio companies are down" This place is so sad! I just thought Valeant was a shit show, this place is leaving Valeant in the dust.

They will say that some of our products went generic. No company loses close to 4 BILLION dollars in value because products go generic.

love this JP Morgan quote
“Modelling NeuroScience standalone highlights the disproportionate earnings contribution from fairly shortlived Vyvanse cashflows; we estimate Vyvanse is c.25% of group EBITDA.”

They basically said hey Shire board, your CEO has stupid ideas...we see through the crap so why can’t you?

Soros votes against Flemming. We should ask Flem why at NSM.

“The Soros Fund Management, after all, has consistently beat the broader marketssince its inception in 1969.

What key moves has the Soros Fund Management been making in the most recent quarter? In the high-flying healthcare sector, the fund reportedly dumped its entire holdings of Acadia Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ACAD) and Shire plc (NASDAQ: SHPG) in the fourth quarter of 2017, according to the latest 13F filings.”

What they also said is that Flemming didn’t understand what is actually driving the business in terms of value. His poor management and lack of understanding of neuroscience, starving Vyvanse and CNS, chasing “orphan biotech” because he thought it would yield a better valuation just by saying it, and his failed Baxalta play have all led Shire to crash and burn. Maybe he can bully the Board and his reports, but now even the analysts who have been mindless clones see the truth. He had a crappy plan, no vision, didn’t understand how to drive value, and basically has sucked.

I have ~100 shares of Shire stock from participating in the ESPP last year. I could have bought an S&P index fund and made over 20% on my investment. Instead, I am losing money on Shire stock!
How much has everyone else lost on this stock?
