rumor is department of justice and fda are investigating reports that gilenia was marketed using seeding trials before it was approved!!! did anyone hear about this???

It's not illegal to make preparations for FDA requested phase IV studies to observe for safety issues. Seeding trials do happen, but epoch is not an example. Lawsuit has no legs.
Canada here: obviously I don't know for sure but if Novartis Ca inc as affiliate of Novartis AG, just as your affiliate, is any example/indication this must be true.
This company worldwide does their illegal shit and crime. They are equal opportunity criminals and would do it even on Mars if that can make them those extra criminally acquired Novarsian dollars.
What they did in Canada was fake post marketing trials with Diovan for 7 years. This was a scheme to pay off doctors to Rx Diovan to so many patients they were given to enroll into this "trial". No paper work or follow up on the "science" of it, just Rx the damn drug and get paid for it. They got away with the first called Diovantage for 5 years. Something happened internally (maybe a whistleblowing on the fake side of this trial) so Basel ordered it terminated. They quickly changed the name to Destination and did it for two years. Then they got fined an "incredible" amount of $10.000 for infraction of Rx&D codes of conduct for the Destination broke every rule of this pharma cos "club" that protect them from the feds. So they had to cancel this trial. What are they doing now, only those who are kept know. And they ain't talking either for they need their jobs and since there is no FCA in Canada no one whistleblows as in USA and gets the cut from that $422 fine. If you whistle blow in Canada you never work again and get nothing. So it never ends with this Co so if there are rumors of new law suit, be surprised if this is not true. Novartis is one SOB nasty company.
