So we all got Andy's statement letting us know that layoffs are coming. Anybody else wish the company would just let us know WHEN so we could prepare?

He said we would hear at the end of Q1. Therefore, laidoff people will know in march and be employed for 60 days per law until they begin severance.

It would be in his best interest to let Sales know now! All he did with that statement was un-motivate his sales team even more (if thats possible?). I'm praying for volunteer severance.

Exactly. Whether or not people admit it, the majority of those who read his email now have less personal committment to the job and the company. How can one feel vested when they don't know if they are going to be here in six months?
