An Encouraging Word from RTBKPL.

I might guess that few if any of you remember those voice mails from Ken Smith. Ken Smith would at the beginning of the week leave a positive comment on Voice Mail to the entire field force. I at least knew that his message would not ask me for a data base or some kind of other nonsense that would come down from on high.

One of Ken Smith's messages was that, "It isn't over 'till YOU say it's over." With that in mind I would like to suggest that even though the ride at Novartis might be over for some, it's not the end of the road, unless YOU decide it is. The fear and uncertainty of losing ones job can be overwhelming to most. Less so to others but unnerving just the same. Life will go on and you will need to make some changes until you land another position. There ARE jobs out there and never let anyone tell you that you can't apply for certain positions. You will receive a lot of rejections, in many cases you won't even receive a reply to a posted resume but keep swinging for the fence and things will happen.

REMEMBER......IT AIN'T OVER 'TIL YOU SAY IT'S OVER.......(Ken Smith said that, I'm just repeating it.)

There are two kinds of us left in the world: Those who still believe in decency, goodness of humankind and everything else and those who have seen through it all, hypocrisy including. RT...is one of former ones. For that I give him credit for we still need that kind to keep things going and hopefully the good ones will prevail in the end.
At this time those who run and control bigpharma and all other big bizs belong to the nasty ones, using any and every trick in the book to stay in power. One of the favorite tricks they use is; they appeal to the good ones to believe in their decency, while abusing them in so many ways. Ultimate hypocrisy.
This will end for the good guys ALWAYS win.
So, as the good man says, DON'T LET THOSE UBER-BASTARDS GET YOU DOWN!!
