Amylin Sues Lilly

That's the news today.

You just simply have to shake your head in disgust at corporate Lilly behavior and ethics.

And at the same time, thousands of Lilly employees are being fired, let go, re-allocated,
re-optimized, or simply escorted to the parking lot.

It must make the members of the board of directors proud!

I can assure you that I am a man of high compensation. JL
Whoops! I meant to say "character". I wonder how that happened.

What are we supposed to tell the doctors?

If I were still working as a Lilly rep, I would think up something like...."oh doctor, companies, as well as individuals are sue happy these days....it's probably just some corporate lawyers trying to make a buck."

But if you have been with Lilly very long at all, you have had to answer all kinds of questions from doctors about Lilly. You have done it so many times before that you must be quite an expert. So don't worry, either you or your manager will figure out how to smooth this one over with some kind of canned verbage.

Good luck.

The FIPNET geniusi didn't think of this... where there are business partners, there are legal battles. They just thought that everyone was in it for the good of Lilly. These arrogant clowns thought they figured out how to do drug development without the risk. Thanks to their incredible genius, Lilly was going to get something from nothing. Sounds just like the a**holes on Wall Street who thought that they figured out risk free home lending.

How can this be? We didn't even create a super secret lab inside Lilly to steal their product (like last time) Then promote those involved for their forward thinking. Besides we cant have a seperate sales force...unless they are all contractors working for 5 rupels a day

Dear Dr.

We mearley leveraged our global incentiviezed rainbow coliation to make a more robust pipeline of impactive goods as a homogenious parideim.

FIPNET rules baby! It's all "deja vu" for those who have real business acumen. For those with degrees from Harvard, it's "business failure as usual". How fast can Lilly go from $20 billion in sales to $40 billion in lawsuits? It won't take long with this leadership team. Anyone want to buy some Lilly bathroom tissue? It's made from the finest global shares certificates.

Lil'lie VerminValues

Once again, the degenerate throw-back gutter values of lillie ƒûçkover another 'partner'...I hope Amylin wins treble damages and then some. Emisphere redux. OH, and to those academic institutions even contemplating PD(uh)²--watch and learn and see what 'integrity' this place has dealing with so-called parnters.

Lillie Guttervalues

Lillie proves, again, the throwback values that has made it the pharma-catastrophe of the decade. Way to go, Hungry JCL, BoyGenius. More litigation leading to bankruptcy awaits.

What are we supposed to tell the doctors?

You are suppose to tell the doctors not to bother being more aggressive with Type 2 diabetes. A twice a day shot that provides sustained improvement in glucose control with the added benefit of weight loss is simply too much trouble.
"Doc, take the path of least resistance, give patients this placebo, I mean oral medication, Tradjenta. Yeah, you won't get weight loss, patients with T2DM are mostly noncompliant fat asses anyway, so who cares? Why waste your time trying to explain the benefits of Byetta? Just give em the oral and get on to your next patient. When they come back in a year or two after floundering on the Trad-met combo, with an AIC of around 9 and carrying around an extra layer in their girth you will have the perfect Humalog patient."

This board really makes me crack up sometimes. Maybe I need.... http://www.nuedexta.com/patient-index.shtml

Right this instance, carmel-based offspring of reallocated lly valued colleagues are now grinding up dextromethorphan containing pills in order to convert, per HAaRVARD synthesis PhD Appalachian Johnie's Thesis instructions, them into Granny's Rheumatizzzz Med'cine in order to help stave off forclosure. WELCOM TO THE INDIANA LIFESCIENCES INCUBATOR, mi gente!

Once the case goes Amylin's way--and it will-- the presiding Judge will sentence a fine equal to no less than $1 billion US per pound of Porker CEO weighs, one week after the verdict is handed down. Now THERE is Downsizing That Matters!
