No there isn't. Amylin no longer owns the products, period. Contracts with CSOs are quite complex and will allow Amylin to cancel for such a reason. Additionally, BMS will comarket with AZ on this, and there are WAY too many sales reps even before accounting for the Amylin direct reps. Sorry, but expect a two- week severance and 30 days of insurance coverage. I would prepare for this right now.

You will have jobs till December. Pay attention not only to what's being said, but whats NOT being said... There are way too many reps b/w BMS AZ and Amylin... BMS isn't going to pay for contract reps when they have too many they already bought... Tom needs to send out the so called severance package in WRITING.. I heard contract reps dont get severance especially from a company that had the contract that is no longer!!!! They want everyone till December the "Reorg" starts Jan.. Talk to the BMS reps in the field... We'll all be at the National Meeting in Oct... but that's the last time we'll all be together
