What?? Pfizer bought Warner lambert in 2000 in a $250 billion deal. This was at a time when the stock market was at 10,500 compared with close to 18,000 now. I think if you consider the inflation, that would be about a $400B deal vs a $290B deal. Regardless, it would go down as one of the biggest deals in history. Just think someone like Bob advised Pfizer on that deal and now he can pull off one of his own!

Exactly, we have the best CEO around, who needs science when you have a banker as your leader. We get the important deals done.
On to the conquest of Gilead.

That's right business is business, you scientists may not agree. But here is how you might understand...what came first the chicken or the egg? Bob needs to pick up his balls and get a big fucking deal done!
 




Amgen won't acquire Gilead. Gilead is so much more than Oncology; actually they are not much in Oncology---yet. When you consider that their Hep C CURE (Sovaldi), launched last Nov., sold 1 Billion (yes, with a "B") in the first quarter alone, it would take 4-5 Amgens to buy Gilead. Don't think that will happen. Just my $.02

ExpressScripts wants no part of their cure....but, it's true, Amgen would never be able to buy Gilead
 








It never ceases to amaze me that, even at Christmas, people insist on hurling insults. I guess it is a reflection of the rotteness they feel about themselves. I offered up some insight and you do not have to try and insult me because you may not agree. I would not call anyone's school "crappy," because as far as I know, that is all that they could afford. So, poster, Merry Christmas, and God Bless you and keep you safe this Christmas season, however you celebrate it.

I see low SAT scores, remedial math classes, classes with other dumb students who are lazy, people who waste money and daddy's money to party. We need more ZS, McKinsey, BCG, types here at Amgen to pick up the slack of you deadbeats.
