Maps are drawn, KI buildout has been funded. All therapeutic oncology heading north to SSF.

Look I'm on the KI side and I am definitely an ass clown. No argument there. Also no argument that SC is a complete idiot and poser...even us ass clowns know that. But none of that changes the fact that KI is building out to a national footprint and therapeutic Onc is moving to SSF. We will have Vectibix 100% in early 2015, and there is no way, even if Amgen wanted to, to shed Nexavar. We own and are obligated to market Nexavar in 50% of the US. There is no reason, financial or other, that Bayer would want to change that obligation. Stivarga was different as we had zero overhead involved. For Nex we still contribute 50% of the total costs. I know...facts suck.

Amgen AFP will reduce head count for all Amgen including Onyx. More so within Amgen but it will hit your departments as well to a lesser extent. KI will be expanding but they will be shedding those such as SC and will put in place people TH likes. Amgen Can't control onyx directly but can through choosing who is in charge aka pawns for TH. Amgen needs you separate to run therapeutic onc without being under the CIA. So the only control TH and amgen will have is control of leadership and employees in your org. If you don't fit the mold they will can you. Then expand with an army of lemmings that's Amgen can control. So yes Amgen is expanding onyx but it's not like you will have full control as you think.

Have you been asleep for the last few months? TH already put his guy in charge of commercial with MM. MM technically didn't interview with PC until after he was hired by TH. SC is a non factor and I do believe she will be gone as she was never a good fit, had no experience and was the only person DS could get externally. She literally does nothing since she doesn't know what to do and really has no skill set.

If you're at Amgen how do you really even know SC? You are definitely not an Amgen insider and I know for a fact that you are not an Onyx insider as your 'plan' is nowhere near accurate.
To know how inconstant SC is you would have to be here at Onyx so that tells me you are. But trust me you scenario is no where near close.

Ha...100% wrong and I told you that on this board earlier before my posts got pulled. PabC told Onyx yesterday at their Town Hall meeting that Onyx in no way falls under AFP. Again, clearly you are speculating and I am giving you facts. You should be thankful that I spill some accurate info.

Time will tell. I know what meetings I'm in and with whom and what is being planned. You are an Amgen rep in some far away place stirring the pot. That's fine. Have at it. It's a blog after all.

Not sure what is driving your comments...jealousy on not making a few million like many of us did, the fact that your blue team is going shrink and never sell any if the new therapeutic agents, or that you have laughable base salaries...yeah I saw that comparator too. Or you are just a petty person who gets their fun from posting inaccurate things in hopes of unsettling a few people. Pick any of them and it proves you have some issues. Again have at as the more you post the more I know your are full of crap.

What's funny is in the 10 months or so the only Amgen influence that we have felt is your horrible systems and some odd policies. Your 401k is great and that outweighs some of the other oddities with the health and dental, etc.. Other than that it doesn't feel all that different. My region and my manager is more or less the same, the day to day is more or less the same even adding Vectibix as it really is just a replacement for Stivarga, so again not a different feel.

If that changes, as I'm sure you are going to tell me it will, then we will each have to make a decision to either stay or leave, or maybe Amgen will make the 'leave' decision for us. In any to the above cases it's useless to spend any time thinking or worse worrying about it. At this point Amgen has kept their word on everything they have told us and until they betray that I will give them the benefit of the doubt. They've told us they would like to see KI built out nationaly and I have no reason to doubt that is their intention. If that doesn't happen so be it as it really won't affect my territory either way. You work for people not companies and I like the people I work with.
