Ameritox, Surprisingly Great!

After reading the many negative posts about Ameritox, I took the gamble of joining up with the company. It was not a need to move as I was performing great in my former employment but more as something new and challenging with a decent increase in pay.

I am greatly impressed with the amount of resources, professionalism, and opportunity to perform that Ameritox provides. This company does not spare any expense and sets you up to succeed. My manager is real world, the training was well above that of any pharma, and I am 100 % happy about making the move. I hope this adds hope to those who are contemplating making the move.

Some have had the same positive outlook that you have and that is great, but wait till the gauranteed 3k bonus is over after 3 months. Im glad that you have a good manager and he/she must be a new hire. Im glad the experience is good but overall, and I do know many that are there have had very bad experiences.

Good luck though.

wrong again! Came from big pharma, top 20% last 3 years, top 10% last year and loving the switch. These posts must be comming from some jealous competition that doesnt have what we have at Ameritox.

Just wait, you'll be looking in no time at all. Unless of course, this is "Big Brother", an Ameritox employee, paid to look at all the negative press and make up fictitious stories about happy employees? Happy employees my butt!

Wow, desperate companies take desperate measures to fight the truthful posting and try to "cover their tracks". Unfortunately, the "cat is out of the bag"! Decent candidates are pretty smart, they will do their due-diligence, they'll ask recruiters, physicians and search the internet for info on the company. Once they see the disproportionate number of negative blogs vs. the few "Big Brother" cover ups, they'll figure it out for themselves. You can't attract top talent any longer. You're days are numbered! What company doesn't tell the sales reps what their quota is in dollar revenue? They give it to them in the amount of collected Pee-cup samples. Wonder why? It's because the ridiculous amount you are charging patients for this BS test. If reps knew that $1000+ a sample and their quota is 800 Pee cups a month, do the math. They would understand the ridiculous profit margins you are making; and the pittance you are paying them. Nearly 9000 samples a year X $1000? $900,0000/ Wow, talk about a scam. You're a privately held company that stinks from the TOP DOWN, the VC as well

How much tenure do you expect reps to have when the company has only been around about 5 years? Duuh, weak argument. Nothing but growth is what I see. Ive been here 4 years and have seen a growth trend unlike any company I have worked in. Glad some real opinions are finally posting about the positive. The size of the company has doubled in 18 months, and a second brand new 50 million dollar lab. A company headed in the wrong direction right??? Not. Glad to be part of the leading company vs all the copy cats trying to compete.

Top 20-wow. Good managed care coverage, samples and lunch for the masses. I give you a year-2 tops. However, I do not believe you are who you claim to be. You sound like some hack from Baltimore or a DM that cannot a single soul to take the punishment and are false advertising.

Its called putting a dress on the pig before market. The company has faced stagnant or declining growth for sometime now. Sterling wants to sell this loser and fast. The 50 mil lab can be carved out to anyone. In your spare time you should see if they need anymore financial wizards at corporate. You can jump in and help

Really, you were canned. or soon to be canned, just like the rest of the pharma industry and had to take a job to eat or make the rent. You did not choose Ameritox. They chose you for the time being because you had no salary leverage, were unemployed, inexpensive and still dumb enough to be scared by management. U can guzzle the Kool aid by the bucket without spilling a drop on the cheap dress shirt. Be sure to write back in another 8 months and give us another update on your stellar go getter attitude.

I would be the farm you are flat as ice and scraping the bottom of the bowl to eek out an existence. Remember you are playing with their ball on their dirt play ground. They can take the ball and go home the minute they have tired of you. It wont be long. The average length of employment is barely over a year.

You will soon notice that the you and the majority of your team are 30% below quota and are getting hammered on daily, yet senior management still makes bonus. Huh. It s a rigged deck. You will figure it out soon enough.

Sales people can be a lot like sheep. You are a prime example. I would be thrilled to have you on my team. No insight, just a stand up parrot that arrives occasionally uninvited to sell me a scary story. Sorry not buying today.

My intention is not to be a mean person, just realistic.

Work on your math loser. 9,000 x 1,000 is 9,000 thousand or 9 million, you idiot. If I didn't know better, this is math that wilterd would do.

I'm thrilled to see this post- been with the company 3 years and I'm happy. I don't think any Ameritox employee that's worth their weight has time to go on and post BS positive feedback, and the ones who do have the time are obviously should be looking for another job anyway. I will say that if you don't have a good territory/manager/partner that you're potential is limited- but thats how it is with any company. Glad to hear someone else is happy. All the competitors are such haters. I guess that's why we didn't hire you!

Is this now a full time position here? Minister of Bull Shit? Can I have this job, Herr Goebbels? Tell a big lie often enough, and people will believe you?

FAIL!

Prev Pharma rep here! I could always BS my way in pharma and get good time with a doc but weather he wanted to talk is up for debate. At Ameritox I not only get time, it's something Docs want to talk about. This is big boy sales. Signature getters don't like it because they can't hack it. Your paid here to think rather than run around leaving crafty fake sucess stories like in pharma.

I have to actually agree with this person. I was hesitant about taking the job, but decided it was worth the gamble, and I have actually been really happy. So far here is what I can tell about the company. 1) It is making strides to improve some things it has mismanaged. Growing pains are also normal with any young company. 2) This is not the job for you if you are not sharp or dislike hard work. It is a hardworking company, and if you aren't organized/intelligent/hardworking than don't take the job. It will eat you alive, but if you can keep your cool, work hard, and know how to play the game it is a great place to be. But, with any sales job, your boss matters, and so does the territory.

Trust your gut; it might not be the best fit for you if you came from pharma (I did) and are used to working minimal hours with maximum flexible time (if you have small kids, or really like an early tee time). There are hardworking people in pharma don't get me wrong, but people have to prioritize. There are a lot of burn outs and negative people on cafe pharma...
