The language is basically guaranteeing a parachute full of money and benefits for an extended period of time if there is a buyout or merger. The parachute is for the top executives of the company. Its quite standard practice if a potential change is looming. I think we all kinda knew that if something were to happen, it would come around European approval. Not saying it's certain but this type of filing is a precursor possibly.
