Iv'd with patient care several days ago. Not at all impressed with the office, personnel, etc. I worked for another large hhc company and what I have indentified is they are more similar than different. It always seems they run the local offices by the seat of their pants.
 




Im with almost family... I you have ANY (and I mean ANY) alternative stay away STAYAwaaay...

In fairnessyou may do better if you are in KY or FL.... but I sugesst you do some reaserch about the multiple law suits and investiagtions that Almost family and it's senior leadership team are involved in... Insider trading, stock price onfaltion oh the list goes on...google or to the WSJ

Pay is piss poor.. 55K (top i've heard is 65K if ur an RN)..

Health coverage is poor, dental has a 1K/yr max.

There is .41/mile... no car allowance.

Territories are haphardly aglined and not NEARLY comparable as far as potential.... Some get hospital's, sub-acutes & nursing andrehabs while others will have community based practices only

MEDICARE ! yes these folks are senior advocates... so they only accept clean Medicare ! So, any referral you get that the pt has AARP, Oxford, what ever... THEY will not be admitted and you will not get vredit for them.

Your direct manger will be a homecare branch mamager or executive director... so if u are accustomed to a sales organization with a manager who know anything about access, volume potential & basically anything that a sales manger would have an uderstanding of NOT at almostfamily... NURSES run this ship

Vaca for a rep 2 wks UNLESS u r an RN...they get 3wks no matter what position they hold. You earn vaca but cannot use it untill u reach ur 6th mth annvsry.

Having said all that... If you are in need of a job, by all means proceed.

This company in Cleveland is headed by a occupational therapist who knows nothing about sales. NOTHING! The pay stinks, treatment borders on harrassment and benefits are the best. Senior advocates---not at all- money advocates for sure!!! Only want the $$$---and if you want entertainment go to see the CEO cry upon command. Its a joke job!!!

AMEN!!!! DO NOT work for this company unless you enjoy complete misery and micromanagement! You can't wipe your ass without approval from corporate and even if you get that, it better be with ride toilet tissue or you will catch hell!
