Allergan, based in Irvine, California, also repeated its recommendation that holders “prevent Valeant from taking control of Allergan at a price that does not appropriately reflect the underlying value of Allergan’s assets, operations and prospects.”

That makes perfect sense.............................considering that DP and team have spent the last 5 months going scorched earth on Valeant and driving the stock price down.

Try again.

Keep drinking the Allergan Corporate Kool Aid!!!

At first it was a unwanted/hostile bid, but since majority of share holders want to make money the Valeant take over is inevitable.

The main reason for 1500 corporate job cuts is to make Allergan look more profitable on paper, so that the asking Allergan stock sales price will be higher than Valeant's current offer.

Of course you are so busy blowing DP to hopefully keep your job at Allergan Corporate that you think DP is trying to save the company!

I trust that DP has better advise now on how to get a higher price. You're correct that the Valeant trashing was counter productive (even harmful to the funds owning both stocks). It's better to build up Allergan's value.

What pyott has failed to own up to is the talks with Valeant started18 months prior to the announcement of hostile take over. The first talks started as mergers, not a take over. Pyott didnt see enough money for himself. It would have preserved the job recently lost.
