probably never had a real job before. Well, good for them.

I hope they are not lied to like we were. I hope that they don't nibble on lofty promises of "career" and "security" - best of luck to you all. Be sure to save your money for the day you don't have that fake Lilly smile any more.

About that age JCL was hired to learn chemistry..boy he was attentive as he also got free tuition. So all 23-yearers, take job and start studying at IU, BU, WU, or any online course at Phoenix U. Then get you PhD in sales and junk marketing, and hop your position every 18-20 months...tada...you are anointed new CEo in about 20 years.

Duh, yeah! Why would you put some tired old 40-something in a ambitious position like this? The Fat Cat days of Lilly are gone. It's time to put some tiger blood in this organization.

We have established a super secret six sigma project to wet wire the 40 somethings with the twenty somethings to down load all of the useful experience.

I AM glad they are picking the young ones. Because we have gone to school and done well, only to graduate in a recession where there are no jobs. It really is depressing, when you graduate and are thrown out into the world in such circumstances. The new grad's deserve someone giving them a opportunity, no matter what it is!

Oh really? What about the ones with mortgages and kids of their own? You can still live with mommy and daddy...not an option for some of us. I feel your pain...but NEVER start assuming you are "owed" anything. When I got into pharma it was dog eat dog then and still is today.
