Everyone working in pain lost their job. For those who are not working on one of the two lead projects, their last day is June 21st. The remainder will work until the two lead projects reach Milestone B, at the latest Dec 31st. I would estimate125+ people were laid off, including dozens of senior scientists (PhD-level).

The other all employee meetings in different areas are to discuss this new change in direction.

actually #7 is pretty much right, although there is a different group that is being formed that some of the impacted discovery scientists can apply to, up to 40 or so from what is being discussed.
